2nd Week of My OJT Journey

Monday: Today I started encoding all of my books into an Excel spreadsheet. I began by creating a new spreadsheet and entering the titles, authors, and other information I wanted to track. It took me a few hours, but by the end of the day I had finished entering all of the data. Initially, I wanted to have 100 books to be encoded before noon but was feeling tired already and so did not continue to do it. Tuesday: I reviewed what I've encoded yesterday and today I spent making sure all of the data I had entered was accurate and complete. I also spent some time reformatting the spreadsheet to make it look cleaner and more organized. After looking at the encoded information in the excel spreadsheet, I encoded all of the remaining books on the top shelf. Wednesday: Today I noticed that half of the books that I encoded were blocking the walkway, so I decided to move it and stack it on the books that were near the corner. 1st Week of My OJT Journey

   For the first week of our OJT Program, we had an orientation about the rules and regulations, the staff we would meet, and what we should expect in our OJT program.  On the first day of our OJT, at the 2nd Floor of the University Library, where the cold of the clean office graciously welcomed us in which our supervisor, Jean Altavano, briefly discussed what will be the task our group would do. Our supervisor told us that we should expect an additional work since our course is not aligned with what they previously gave us. After the brief discussion, we were told to follow Ma'am Jean Altavano for us to start our work. At the ground floor, we entered the 1st floor library where we saw a bundle of books staring at us. The dust, smell of an old parchment, and at the same time the cold air entered our nostrils.
